There are three words that I can best be summarized by:
I love what I do. I love the industry. I love the energy of customers and I have always loved cars and trucks. It is a privilege to be so passionate about my vocation, and this is something that both drives me and allows me to inspire others.
Everything about our job is people. It brings me immense satisfaction to see a team come together and achieve something that would be impossible for any individual. Relationships are so powerful and foundational to all parts of our industry. It is those connections that inspire and drive me.
I see what things can be – and I find great satisfaction in sharing this vision with others to build great things together.
My entire career has been dedicated to the automotive industry—racing, performance, personalization and OE vehicles.
I am a Mechanical Engineer and have my MBA in Marketing.
I have founded automotive companies in engineering and motorsport – conversely, I have many years of experience as a leader in the world’s largest OEMs. As lead of Toyota North America Truck business, I challenge the organization to think and act differently - be entrepreneurial – and realize new levels of success – with much coming through a focus on strategic partnerships with the aftermarket.
Born and raised in Australia, for many years I built my international automotive experience – but always with a focus on the US market. With my wife and two boys, we permanently moved our life to the US.
Family is core to me
I love supporting my family’s passions – and I love when those passions intersect. Teaching my son to build an engine or hear him passionately dream of his first car warms my heart. Automotive passion is alive and well in the next generation!
